Britz Garden

Sunday 5th October, I went to Britz Garden with ‘oldie’ Hermann.

I got a call from him yesterday morning saying he had safely got back from Italy and if I was doing anything that afternoon. I said I wasn’t so he suggested we go to Britz Garden to see the dahlia display. And so off we went with warm coats and umbrellas.

The garden is in the south of Berlin and used to be part of a Schloss. It is a popular place in summer and particularly so in spring when the flowers and trees start to bloom. It is also popular with young families and not only with ‘seniors’! Here are a few photos to give you an idea about the garden before I post photos of the dahlias.
