It’s been a relatively quiet week since I last posted. I have only gone out for fixed appointments or for shopping. Why? Because the number of covid cases has climbed to a record high. The same happened in the UK. Given the high number of people with injections against covid here, I really cannot understand why there was such an increase. I had a couple of visitors and enjoyed sipping a glass of something nice with them and catching up on news.
I went to the orthopädie clinic on Monday only to discover me health insurance card was no longer valid – although the date on the card said it was valid! I received a temporary card yesterday so I am going back to the clinic tomorrow. I also needed to replace another card at my local government office only to be told it was no longer possible in person. I had to send my documents by post. Still waiting for them to be returned to me. The big event for me today is to watch Germany play against Armenia at football, starting at 6.00pm local time. Guess which team I want to win! Enjoy your Sunday evening. Result: German team won 4:1
