Late Card

Late Card

When I got home from seeing the Aga Khan collection, I checked my mail box. I discovered the usual junk and an envelope with handwriting I knew.

It was postmarked Cambridge and bore the writing of my dear sister – La Paulina! It was a birthday card! Nice, but my birthday was three weeks earlier when I was in Baton Rouge.

Then I realised she must have reasoned that I was in Amiland and decided to post it when she thought I would get back. Isn’t the power of reasoning great!

I really liked the text and decided to share the smile with you. I like the punchline which allows her to share the qualities of the ‘birthday boy’ = Me! I think you can read the text and share in the smile.
